How to Request Data Deletion
If you wish to have your account and associated data deleted from FactHeck, email us at hello@factheck.com from the address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Data We Store
FactHeck stores the following data associated with your account:
- Your email address and hashed password (or Google account identifier, if you signed in with Google).
- Usage and credit records, including your referral code and referral history.
- Your saved fact-check results and the URLs you submitted for analysis.
- Server logs (IP addresses, timestamps, and request metadata).
How to Delete Your Data
You have two options:
- Self-service: You can delete individual saved fact-check results at any time from the "My Results" page while signed in.
- Full account deletion: To delete your entire account and all associated data, email hello@factheck.com from your account email address so we can identify and remove your data.
