By accessing or using FactHeck, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

FactHeck is an automated fact-checking tool that analyses publicly available social media posts from platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The service extracts claims from posts, searches for supporting or contradicting evidence, and generates verdicts using artificial intelligence.

3. Account Registration

To use FactHeck, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit URLs that you know to contain illegal content.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

5. Disclaimer of Accuracy

FactHeck uses artificial intelligence to analyse claims and generate verdicts. Results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as definitive statements of fact. AI-generated verdicts may contain errors, and evidence retrieval may be incomplete. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.

6. Intellectual Property

The FactHeck service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by SAFEGUARDAI (MIRA) LTD. Content analysed by the service (social media posts) remains the property of its respective creators. Fact-check results generated by the service may be used by you for personal and non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Platforms

FactHeck accesses public content from third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) via their public pages or official APIs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these platforms. Your use of FactHeck is also subject to the terms of service of the platforms whose content you submit for analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAFEGUARDAI (MIRA) LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
